Thirty thousand coins on the nose. The Gorilla is one of the few TikTok gifts with a round price tag, exactly one coin above the Lion, and since this fall it has also been vanishing from gift panels region by region, the US included. So how much is a Gorilla on TikTok for the viewer who sends it, and for you? Short answers to that and to the other Gorilla questions below, from the country list to an alert that hands the big ape your whole screen.
How much is a Gorilla on TikTok worth, for the viewer and for you?
| 30,000 coins in the gift panel |
~$318 what the viewer pays for the coins |
~$75 what reaches you, as 15,000 Diamonds |
How much is the Gorilla gift on TikTok for the viewer, then? The 30,000 coins cost about $318 when they’re bought on TikTok’s website, and more when they come as coin packs from the app, which is why other gift lists quote higher dollar figures.
And what’s the Gorilla TikTok gift worth once it reaches you? Roughly 15,000 Diamonds, which is about $75 before any payout fees. Coins go in on the viewer’s side, Diamonds come out on yours, and TikTok keeps the difference. One funny detail is that a Lion costs 29,999 coins, one coin less, and pays you the same $75.
Three Gorillas in one stream add up to about $225 for you. For euros, pesos, or rupees, enter the roughly 15,000 Diamonds from one Gorilla below and pick your currency. How Diamonds become real money is explained in our TikTok Diamonds guide.
Estimated value: –
1 Diamond = $0.005 USD. Other currencies are approximate. The TikTok app shows the exact amount when you withdraw.
Why isn’t the Gorilla in every gift panel anymore?
Because TikTok’s gift panel is put together per region, and the Gorilla’s region list has been shrinking fast. When we first researched this article in September 2026, the Gorilla was listed in 89 of the 95 regions we track, the US among them. On October 28, 2026, TikTok’s own region lists carried it in 31, all of them in Europe plus Israel, and the US was gone.
These are the regions where the Gorilla was not listed on October 28, starting with the United States, then Canada, Puerto Rico and Martinique, Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, the Dominican Republic, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela, Suriname, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, Nepal, Sri Lanka, the Maldives, Turkey, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Egypt, Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, and South Africa.
Germany, Spain, France, Italy, the UK, and the rest of Europe still had it, and the FAQ at the end names every region where it was listed. The price was the same 30,000 coins in every one of them.
What does the Gorilla gift on TikTok look like?
A mountain gorilla in winter. The icon shows a huge ape with light grey fur and a dark face rearing up on a snowy rock, both arms thrown wide, mouth open mid-roar, with a few dark fir trees far below it for scale. The pale fur against the dark trees is what makes it easy to spot in the gift list, even at thumbnail size.
Which gifts cost the same as a Gorilla?
Thirty thousand coins is a popular price tag in the top bracket. On October 28, 2026, four more gifts in TikTok’s list cost exactly that, and two of them, Sam the Whale and Magic Rod, were listed in the US, where the Gorilla wasn’t. Here’s the bracket, with the Lion and the Zeus as bookends:
| Gift | Coins | Listed in the US on Oct 28 |
|---|---|---|
| Lion | 29,999 | yes |
| Gorilla | 30,000 | no |
| Sam the Whale | 30,000 | yes |
| Magic Rod | 30,000 | yes |
| Community Legends | 30,000 | yes |
| TikTok Houses Glory | 30,000 | no |
| Zeus | 34,000 | yes |
Every gift in this table pays you the same roughly 15,000 Diamonds, except the Zeus, which brings about 17,000. So for your balance, a Gorilla and a Lion are twins. For the viewer, the difference is the animal on screen, and the Gorilla has the louder entrance.
How do you give a Gorilla the whole screen?
A gift at this price deserves more than a small alert in the corner. With TikFinity’s OBS integration, an incoming Gorilla can switch your whole OBS Studio scene for a moment, roar included.
1 In OBS Studio (version 28 or newer), build a scene just for this moment, with a full-screen gorilla clip or a jungle backdrop, your camera shrunk into a corner, and a big thank-you text. Keep your normal scene as it is.
2 In Actions & Events, create an action that switches OBS to that scene, and add a roar as the sound plus a spoken thank-you with the sender’s name via text-to-speech.
3 Add an event with “Sending a specific gift” as the trigger and pick the Gorilla; TikFinity lists it once, so one event is all it takes. Fire a test Gorilla with the Event Simulator, watch the scene flip, then switch back to your usual scene once the roar is over.

One last thing: TikTok reshuffles its gift panel all the time, so treat the country list above as a snapshot and check your own panel before you count on a Gorilla.
More Gorilla questions, from levels to double entries
30,000 coins as of October 28, 2026. That’s one coin more than a Lion (29,999) and about two thirds of a TikTok Universe (44,999), so a Universe costs one and a half Gorillas. For the creator, a Gorilla and a Lion both bring roughly 15,000 Diamonds.
No. TikTok’s gift list carried no level lock for the Gorilla on October 28, 2026, so anyone with 30,000 coins in a region that lists it can send one. That’s different from the Fire Phoenix (Level 46) or the TikTok Universe+ (Level 40), which only unlock for high-level gifters.
Not anymore. In September 2026, TikTok’s gift list carried two Gorilla entries with the same icon and the same 30,000-coin price, the quirk the Zeus still has. On October 28 only one was left, and TikFinity’s gift selection lists a single Gorilla as well, so one event covers the alert. Your Diamonds never depended on which of the two a viewer picked anyway.
When we started researching this article in September 2026, the Gorilla sat in the gift panel of almost every region, the US included. By October 28, 2026, TikTok’s region lists only carried it in 31 of them: Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the UK, Ireland, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Cyprus, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, and Israel. That’s TikTok for you, a gift can leave a panel from one week to the next, so your own gift panel in the app is the final word.
